About the People and Culture Specialist position

We are looking for a hardworking and enthusiastic People and Culture Specialist to join our ambitious HR dream team and help us drive top talent to our company via innovative candidate attraction strategies.

People and Culture Specialist responsibilities are:

  • Develop and implement strategies to increase Diversity and Inclusion within the organization
  • Develop and implement strategies that follow core values and the culture within the organization
  • Identify and implement opportunities to improve our team member experience, employee experience
  • Provide proactive employee relations to employees at all levels of the organization, advisor to management in order to build and maintain a high performing and engaged team
  • Providing advice and support to managers on the process and management of change
  • Plan and organize the company’s internal events and social calendar (off-sites, team building events, in-office events, Hackathons, lunch ‘n learns, sporting events, holiday party, etc.); manage and administer the company’s culture/events budget
  • Design and lead initiatives including research and diagnostics (e.g. annual employee
  • engagement survey and exit interviews), to maximize the engagement of all employees and build organizational commitment to the desired culture
  • Responsible for our HR systems and ensure we are using them efficiently and effectively to drive people processes and administration
  • Be an ambassador for leaders and employees, resulting in a successful employee experience; help maintain our core values and ensure that all decisions, programs, and processes are aligned with our culture and core beliefs

People and Culture Specialist qualifications are:

  • Previous working experience preferably as a People and Culture for 5 years
  • Bachelor degree or higher in Human resources or similar relevant field
  • In-depth knowledge of employee experience and human resources
  • Excellent understanding of full-cycle recruitment, onboarding, engagement processes
  • Outstanding communications and interpersonal skills
  • Impactful presentation style
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize daily workload
  • Creative thinker and proactive problem solver
  • A positive, “can do” attitude
