About the Legal Associate position

We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Legal Manager. As our Legal Manager, you will ensure our company adheres to legal standards and in-house policies. You will be responsible for enforcing regulations in all aspects and levels of business as well as provide guidance on compliance matters.

Legal Manager Responsibilities are:

  • Acting as a business partner providing indispensable legal expertise to all other business functions (marketing, IT, HR and etc.)
  • Develop and provide legal frameworks and processes that champion legal and regulatory compliance
  • Prepare, draft, review, develop and negotiate all relevant contracts/agreements, official letter and relate the company's legal documents to both internal and external parties
  • Communicate and deal with government officer
  • Communicate and negotiate with external parties such as public authority, vendor, bank and accounting firm
  • Providing best practices and responses to any matters that engage the company in arbitration and/or litigation
  • Provide utmost confidentiality in all business-related matters
  • Supporting the Risk and Compliance department as a sounding board for their compliance-related policy and regulatory management
  • Refresh and maintain current knowledge of alterations in the legislation of the relevant business
  • Handle about GDPR Data Protection, PDPA to apply to all company business
  • Lead the legal team

    Legal Manager Qualifications are:

    • Bachelor's degree or higher in law or similar relevant field in reputation university
    • Experience 5 years of legal counsel in law firms or leading multinational companies
    • Strong experience in private, civil, compliance, and commercial law
    • Knowledge and understanding of regulatory compliance programs, policies, and procedures, general commercial laws, PDPA, and laws related to Information technology, Marketing, and business
    • Perfect academic of Thai and English in both written and spoken
    • Excellent people and project management skills with an ability to work under tight deadlines
    • Good interpersonal skills, good communication, cross-cultural skills, and the ability to work well with people at all levels
    • Sense of ownership and pride in your performance and its impact on the company’s success
